Seven years.

Tell us a little bit about what you do…

Administration and carrying out the day-to-day running of the business, including on the lawns.

Who else is on your team?

I run it on my own, with some part-time help in busy periods.

Which services do you offer?

All services offered by Greensleeves, although I offer limited hard surface treatments.

Which areas do you cover?

Lichfield, Derby on the A38, Tamworth, Ashby on the M42, everywhere in between and Uttoxeter.

What’s the most unusual obstacle you’ve had to overcome, i.e. steepest/biggest/roughest lawn?

Negotiating my way through a field of sheep to get to a lawn!

Are you a dog or a cat person? (Or anything else!)

Dog.

What’s the best thing about your job?

Working outside and the customers.

Why did you choose to specialise in lawns?

A friend told me about it and thought it would be good for me.

Which is your favourite season to work in?

Late summer and autumn.

What do you like to listen to in your van?

Absolute Radio 90s, Kisstory, football podcasts.

What’s your favourite post-work snack or lunch item?

Sandwiches.
