Welcome to Greensleeves South Cumbria and thanks for visiting our website, which from early 2021 has been managed by myself, David Gass.

Having always had a passion for turf, I returned home to Cumbria from the South East after more than 25 years working in the sports turf industry. Following gaining a BSc (Hons) degree in Sports Turf Science, I have been lucky enough to work on and manage some of the finest grassed sporting venues in the UK, including The Grove and Woburn Golf Club – both hosts of pro tournaments – and also pitches used by visiting NFL teams and the England national football team.
