The benefits of a professional lawn care service

A well-manicured lawn can significantly enhance the aesthetic appeal of a property, increase its value and instil a sense of pride. But maintaining a lawn requires regular care and attention, which can be challenging for busy homeowners. Hiring a professional lawn care service such as Greensleeves is a great solution for many reasons. Let’s take a closer look at the benefits…

Skill and expertise

Greensleeves employ passionate and dedicated lawn care managers who have the knowledge and expertise to give your lawn the wow factor. They’re all highly trained and highly skilled and they all have two qualities in common – they love treating lawns and are perfectionists. All the lawns they care for are as important to them as their own.

If you’re an expert on different grass types, ideal soil conditions, hydration levels, fertilisation methods, aeration, scarification, red thread, fusarium patch and more then you probably don’t need us… but anyone else should give Greensleeves a try if you want your lawn to fulfil its potential. And if your lawn needs more than regular, expert TLC, our team can also perform lawn repair and lawn renovation.

Specialist equipment

We’ve got aerators, scarification machines, overseeding tools and fertiliser and insecticide equipment. You won’t find these in most garden sheds. Greensleeves lawn care managers also use treatments you won’t find anywhere else – our fertiliser is made to our own formula, as is our hydration treatment, which contains our own wetting agent. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our top-notch workmanship with a team that’s equipped to care for all types of lawns and gardens, all year round.

We’re local, and national

Wherever you are in the UK, there’s a good chance that your address is covered by a Greensleeves lawn care team. With more than 100 franchisees across the UK, we’re ready to transform and care for your lawn in all seasons. After an initial consultation, you don’t even need to be at home when your lawn care manager comes round. And if you are around and want to chat about your lawn, put the kettle on!

We’ve been doing this for 25 years

Let’s take you back to the early months of 1998. Google didn’t exist and only one in five households owned a mobile phone. Apple’s share price was $0.10 and the average house price in the UK was £66,000. And Greensleeves was launched. 2023 is our 25th birthday, and a lot has happened in the last quarter of a century. Two vans have become 200. After servicing 435 lawns in 1998, we’re now up to 80,000 per year. We’ve treated over 8 million lawns, adding up to 1.3bn metres squared of turf. And the best testimonial we can share with you? Four of our original ten customers from 1998 are still using Greensleeves, 25 years later.
