“I joined Greensleeves at the end of summer 2021.”

What’s the most unusual obstacle you’ve had to overcome so far?
“Being fairly tall; washing lines and low-hanging branches are my biggest obstacles. I need to practice my limbo dancing.”
Are you a dog or a cat person?
“The wild farm cats next door are great and I love watching them hunt.”
What’s the best thing about your job?
“Helping customers transform their lawns. Seeing the positive effects after carrying out hollow tine aeration, scarifying, overseeding and our seasonal treatments gives me real satisfaction.”
Why did you choose to specialise in lawns?
“I have always had a keen interest in lawn care and, after a long and successful career in mechanical engineering, I saw this as a natural step for me. I like combining my interests, my engineering knowledge and my methodical thinking to create the perfect lawn.”
Which season do you most prefer to work during?
“Autumn, since I get to play with the Billy Goat’s PLUGR® reciprocating aerator.”
What do you listen to in your van?
“Being a secret country music fan, I have been known to listen to Garth Brooks.”
What’s your favourite post-work snack or lunch item?
“I always have an emergency banana on board, although I remember that one customer’s homemade pork pie was delicious.”
Are you a tea or coffee person?
“Coffee.”
What are your social media channels?
“Facebook and Instagram.”
