Mike Sands, 52, and John Penn,51, who have been friends since nursery school, have invested in a Greensleeves Lawn care franchise. Greensleeves provides a regular feed and weed service leaving lawns looking green and healthy. The business, based in High Wycombe, is the realisation of an ambition of the two friends to run a business together. “We have know each other virtually all our lives and this new venture is a wonderful opportunity for us to work together and create a prosperous business by providing local residents with first class lawns,“ said Mike of Monks Risborough.

Mike was previously a highly respected travel consultant and John had a successful career in sales but both men were looking for a new challenge. “The lawn care sector is relatively new to the UK but there is a huge demand for a reliable and effective service. Greensleeves is growing by 35 per cent year on year and we believe there is huge potential in this area,” said John. “Most people aspire to have a perfect lawn but few have the time and expertise that is needed to achieve it. We provide a regular feed and weed service which leaves lawns lush, green and healthy. Our business is based on giving exceptional customer service from fully trained and qualified staff.”
