Greensleeves Lawn Care (Bath) covers most of Wiltshire and parts of Somerset as well as the city of Bath itself. Bath, Trowbridge, Frome, Devizes, Calne and Chippenham are all covered as well as the surrounding areas. We offer a professional and friendly Lawn Care program consisting of 4 visits per year starting in spring through to autumn. Each visit we apply a controlled release, no-scorch granular fertilizer, the blend of which is changed depending on the season. Along with the fertilizer we also apply a moss control spray in spring and autumn and a selective systemic herbicide to kill off those unsightly and unwanted weeds without damaging the lawn or existing plants and flowers.
Our aim is to provide the customer with a lush, green and healthy looking lawn that they can be proud of. Whether it’s kerb appeal for the house, somewhere pleasant to sit in the sun or a better looking “pitch” for the family football match we can help to provide it and without the time consuming effort. Our treatments are also often cheaper than the DIY products available from your local Garden Centre or DIY store. To keep you lawn in tip-top condition we also provide Scarification and Aeration as additional services as well as Overseeding for those tired looking lawns that require a helping hand.
• Scarification is a mechanical process performed in spring and autumn. We use professional scarification machines to remove moss and thatch that has built up in the lawn over a period of time thus allowing space for new grass plants to grow and providing a thicker covering. We also rake up all the debris and take it away for disposal.
• Hollow-tine Aeration is a process by which cores are removed from the lawn which relieves compaction allowing moisture to the grass roots, most of us have clay based soils and this helps where drainage is a problem. We also rake up the cores and take them away for disposal, we do not leave them on the ground to break up as top dressing.
