DEWI REALISES DREAM OF LAUNCHING LAWN CARE BUSINESS
A high flying telecommunications specialist has turned his back on corporate life to realise his dream of launching his own lawn care business
Dewi Jones has walked away from an executive salary and Jaguar company car to build his own business providing local people with first class lawns.
Dewi has invested in a Greensleeves Lawn Care franchise providing services to people in Solihull, Knowle, Henley in Arden, Alcester and Redditch. He hopes to create several new jobs as the business grows.
This is the biggest step of my life but I was looking for a total change in lifestyle and this business will give me that as well as providing an investment that I can hand down to my children, said Dewi,52, who is married with three children.
Lawn care is a rapidly growing sector in the UK and I have seen first hand the success a friend of mine has enjoyed running this type of business and the wonderful results he has achieved for his customers.
I enjoy meeting and dealing with people and I know the key to success is providing my customers with a high quality and reliable service.
Dewi who lives in Coleshill added: Lawn care is a comparatively new industry in the UK but it is experiencing tremendous growth with Greensleeves growing by 35 per cent year on year.
Most people aspire to have a perfect lawn but few have the time and expertise that is needed to achieve it. We provide a regular feed and weed service which leaves lawns lush, green and healthy.
