Following a career of nearly 20 years in the turf care industry David Truby was keen to start his own business, that a) utilised his skills and expertise and b) meant he could work in a healthy friendly environment providing a service he believed in. David along with wife Laura started their Greensleeves Franchise in 2004 and after a first years trading have made a healthy start to their new business. Covering a large area of all of East Yorkshire, but also stretching to York, Selby and Scarborough, they have found plenty of demand for their high quality service, which is second to none in the territory. David has particularly enjoyed the practical side of the job as he had previously spent many of his recent years in a company car on the motorway.
